Antenatal Clinic - The Clinic is run by the Community Midwife on Wednesdays from Midday by appointment.

Asthma Clinic - The Clinic is run by the Practice Nurse on a regular basis. Please ask for an appointment.

Baby and Child Development Checks - Newborn babies and children from the age of 6 weeks, 8 months, 18 months, 3 and 5 years are examined to check their health and development. This also gives parents the opportunity to discuss any issues or worries they may have regarding their childs development. The clinic is run by the Community Health Visitor on Tuesdays or Thursdays.

Cervical Cytology (Smears) - For women aged 25 - 64. Smears can be done daily by the Practice Nurse or Nurse Practitioner.

Counselling Clinic - This is referred to by your Doctor and is run by Counsellors or CPNs.

Diabetic Clinic - The Clinic is run by Doctor and Practice Nurse.

Dietary Advice - The clinic is run by community Dietitian.

Family Planning - Advice is given in normal surgery by the Doctor/Nurse.

Flu Clinics - These usually start October/November. Please contact Reception for further details.

Hypertension Clinic - The Clinic is run by the Practice Nurse and HCSW. Please make an appointment.

Immunisation for Children - Immunisation Clinics are on Mondays.

Immunisation for Foreign Travel - Advice and injections are given by the Practice Nurse.

Minor Operations - Removal of cysts, warts etc are dealt with by the Doctor at the local Leek Moorlands Hospital.

Non-NHS Examinations - Heavy Goods Vehicle, PSV and Insurance Medicals are carried out; details at Reception.

Postnatal Examinations - Examination is six weeks after delivery. This is carried out by the Doctor by appointment only.

Tetanus Vaccination - Please make an appointment with Practice Nurse.
