The Practice is fully computerised and all your medical records are held on the computer. The Practice is both a research and training Practice. We train medical students and provide research information to Keele University. We also need to share information with the Health Authority, Hospitals and other NHS bodies to provide your care. We feel that this is essential for the care of our patients and to help improve NHS services.
From time to time GPs in this Practice may contact you about being involved in research with Keele University or the Medical Research Council. Whether or not you take part is entirely up to you, and the decision you take will not affect your care in this Practice in any way. At the John Kelso Practice, we are always looking for ways to improve our service. To do this we need to know what you think about the service you receive. We want you to tell us what we do best and where we don't meet our expectations together with any ideas and suggestions you may have. Only by listening to you can we continue to improve the service we offer. Tell us about our service! Getting through on the telephone? Getting an appointment with the person you wish to see? Were our staff helpful and courteous?

If you have a complaint about the services you have received from the Doctors or any of the staff working in this Practice, please let us know. We operate a Practice Complaints Procedure as part of the NHS system for dealing with complaints.
In the first instance contact Sharon Snape, Practice Manager or Liz Graham, Assistant Manager on 01538 399007 who will be able to offer you advice on our complaints procedure.
