What do I do if the Practice is closed? Call 01538 399302, and your call will be automatically diverted to the North Staffs Urgent Care at Basford with whom we share an on-call rota. It is also possible to contact them directly on 01782 719100. Please note that when contacting the North Staffs Urgent Care that all calls are recorded.
At the weekend, surgeries are held at the Leek Moorlands Hospital for URGENT problems only. To attend you need to contact the North Staffs Urgent Care for a booking number. The surgery is run by the Doctor on Duty for the whole of Leek.

As a Walk in patient you will be able to consult with a doctor or nurse practitioner. They can advice about stopping smoking, dealing with vaccinations, health screenings and sexual health. They will also be providing health promotion clinics run by their Practice Nursing team, by appointment. GP and Nurse Practitioner consultations Contraception and sexual health, Pre-conceptual counselling Holiday vaccinations and travel health, Practice Nurse led services, Blood testing, Asthma, Diabetes, Cardiac: stroke/ chronic heart disease, Flu vaccinations, Wound care, Smoking cessation, Cervical screening, Lifestyle advice, Ear syringing.

The Hanley Health and Wellbeing Centre is primarily a GP practice, however, you do not have to be registered with the Centre in order to receive treatment from them. They provide services to walk-in patients who may be registered with other GP practices as well as to those who are not registered with any GP. The Centre is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year including Bank Holidays. There opening hours are 8.00am - 8.00pm and you can walk-in to see a GP or nurse without an appointment.
